Dear Teachers: Heartfelt Letters from Your Students (Part 1)

In light of Teachers month, students all over Wellspring have written heart-felt letters to show their appreciation to their teachers, both in English and Vietnamese:

To Ms Shelby,

Even though i had your class in 4th grade, until now you still have been my favorite , and most supportive teacher ever🫶. My appreciation for you cannot be fully formed into words as it is such on a deep level. You're patient and understanding with students no matter how they treat you back, or how much they struggle in the subject. You aspire me to become a great person in life, always sympathetic to others, treat people how you want them to treat you. Personally, I absolutely hate the subject Science, and plus my terrible grades in that subject made me hate it even more. However, since you became my science teacher in 4th grade, all I ever did up until now was try my best in every subject, knowing you're still supporting me no matter what. I think it was the way you always understand and help us no matter the cost. You've taught me so many things, aside from planets and constellations. Not only that, you made me feel so safe with you, I felt like you were the only one listening and understanding me at that time. No one did as much as you. And for that, I want to dedicate this letter to you , and hopefully succeed in showing my thankfulness and appreciation for you.

Hi Mr Harold, thank you for being my math teacher for almost 3 years. I really appreciate that you always try to teach us all the math problems. Now I know that you will leave Wellspring to continue your higher education. I hope you will study well and always be positive like you usually are. Always the best math teacher ever💕

In honor of Teacher’s Day, I would like to dedicate this letter to thank you for all the lessons you’ve taught me. Your enthusiasm and funny teaching style have helped me throughout the years, and I’m truly grateful for the positive impact you’ve had on me. You’ve motivated me to work harder in my classes. Just last week, you gave out a chocolate bar, which further amplified my respect for you. Thank you for your years of dedication to teaching and for being a role model to so many students.
