Was This Year's Halloween a Treat or a Trick? A Complete Review

Students always look forward to Halloween every year, and the Halloween we just had recently was great. Though, students couldn’t help but feel like it was missing a little something. Something that has always been one of the big main activities, but has gone missing in recent years.

It Was Fun!

Overall, this year’s much anticipated Halloween festivities were a hit, with the usual events like trick or treating, decorating the class, and the costume contest. Those 3 activities were the favorites among students. Here’s what some of them had to say about this year’s program:

“I thought today was very fun, I liked each class’ stunning decoration, and trick or treating was also a lot of fun.” – Phi Tùng, 7.1.

“This year’s program felt like any other year, [but] the more I grow up the more I enjoy participating in these activities.” – Minh Sơn, 9.4

“I found it fun and interesting because everyone’s personality shined through their costumes, especially those who went all out cosplaying characters.” – Phi Bảo, 8.3
When asked about the most surprising and memorable moments from this year’s Halloween, there were some truly heartwarming and unexpected highlights:

“I felt surprised when kids in lower grades also gave me candy, it made me feel so cherished!” – Minh An, 11.1, Student Council President.

“I thought the elementary students looked adorable when they were asking for candy from the older students.” – Mr. Thanh Huy, literature teacher.

“I was totally surprised to see a student cosplay as a Xanh SM driver” – Minh Quân, 8.6

A Call for the Haunted House's Return!

As for what students would like to see in future Halloween events, the majority of students agree that the school should bring back the long-missed haunted house, seeing as it was a popular event. It has been missing for over 2 years now, and the re-addition of it would certainly be met with a lot of appreciation. Students also want to see the return of the Halloween themed buffets, and perhaps even a movie watch party to make future celebrations even more unforgettable.

And to conclude, to describe this year’s Halloween using only one word, people choose words such as: fun, memorable, jubilant, exciting, interesting.
