What is Model United Nations?
Model United Nations, or MUN, is a thrilling academic simulation of the United Nations, where students get to step into the shoes of real-world diplomats. You’ll debate pressing global issues, negotiate with fellow delegates, and draft resolutions that could change the world—at least in your committee! But MUN is so much more than just debate. It’s a chance to improve critical thinking, enhance communication skills, and learn to work as a team under pressure. Whether you dream of being a world leader or just want to step up your game in public speaking, WISMUN gives you that opportunity.

Is Model United Nations (MUN) a competitive space? Ho Thanh Vi - UNCTAD delegate shared her perspective: “Well, of course, it can be competitive. But I think the UN body itself is such a cooperative kind of environment.”
